About

Hello, you should know that I'm a third-year Telecommunication major at the University of Florida. Born in Miami Florida, I have explored many different opportunities offered in the local area. Shortly after graduating high school, I relocated to Columbus, Georgia, to begin military training. I am specialized in advanced marksmanship, handling explosive weaponry and certified in preforming CPR. Unfortunately, my time in the military came to an abrupt halt due to a sustained injury from an obstacle course. I did not allow that obstacle to hinder my progression; I enrolled myself in Broward College, successfully completing and obtaining my Associate of Arts degree, with Honors distinction.
I have moved on to the University of Florida to combine both my passion for media and my skills in communication. I intend on utilizing my self-taught skill in portrait photography to propel myself further in the entertainment field, as well as perfecting my natural ability to communicate effectively with those that surround me. I plan to take any acquired skills to California, launching my very own talk show that focuses on pop culture, local culture and politics. For now, I am adjusting to the small city of Gainesville, taking it day-by-day to acclimate to its norms. I am an active member of both the Golden Key Club and the National Broadcasting Society granting me the ability to be constantly involved in the community and staying updated with global trends. At 21-years-old, I feel as though, everything I've done is minuscule in comparison when envisioning my plans for the future.
These plans include, opening a non-profit organization that teaches minorities how to effectively understand and manipulate multimedia; teaching at-risk youth alternative ways of being productive members in an unforgiving society; and finally, redeveloping the desire for African-American males to be openly interested in fine arts.
